Helping Teens Get Ready for the Prom

Recently, we were approached by Andy Harris, the Wayne Township Trustee and our customer, and asked if we would be willing to clean some donated prom dresses for the Giant Hearts project. The Giant Hearts project, now in its second year, is an effort to lessen the financial burden of going to the prom for some Ben Davis High School students.

Being in Wayne Township, where the area students attend Ben Davis High School, many of us being graduates as well, we were pleased to be asked and happily participated in the project by dry cleaning the donated dresses.

Yesterday Kimberly Harris, who is heading up the Giant Hearts project, came by to pick up the dresses. The good folks from Channel 6 also came by and recorded this story, as well.

If you'd like to contribute to this worthy cause, donations including dresses, suits, and financial contributions can be dropped off at the Wayne Township Trustee’s office at 5401 West Washington Street.
